New Year Crochet!
So at long last I got around to using the Recycled Sari Silk skeins I've been hoarding, you know, you see some nice yarn & just have to have it knowing you'll find a use for it one day!
I used the tried & tested shrug-a-licious pattern with one or two of my own tweaks.
I like the 'Victoriana' style of this jacket & the silk makes it quite a heavy garment.
If anyone is thinking of using this silk then a word of WARNING wash it first as it will drop lots, this the second time I've made this jacket with the same yarn, one wash & the sleeves ended up down by my ankles!

Wow you newly made shrug sure does look heavy yet very warm to wear. Great work. Wonder if you'll be making more of them, I would be tempted to. It looks so pretty.
